The ability to flatten XFA pdf documents that have been populated with data would be a huge benefit.

Hi Rupesh, I believe this was already fixed? Just run flatten="yes" on a LiveCycle form and see result PDF is flattened. Repro (where PDFWithLiveCycleForm.pdf contains a form created w/ LiveCycle Designer): <cfpdf action="write" source="#expandPath('./PDFWithLiveCycleForm.pdf')#" destination="#expandPath('./FlattenedPDF.pdf')#" overwrite="true" flatten="yes"> Verified in CF11 Update 5 (build 11,0,05,293506). Should the documentation for <cfpdf>'s flatten attribute be changed from: "Applies to forms created in Acrobat only (not forms created in LiveCycle)" to "Applies to forms created in Acrobat and LiveCycle" Thanks!, -Aaron

I've attached the PDFWithLiveCycleForm.pdf which flatten="true" successfully flattens. mattfox78, could you please confirm if the issue is fixed or not? Thanks!, -Aaron

Hi Adobe, Did you see my 2015 repro proving this ticket is fixed? I've just confirmed flatten="true" still successfully flattens LiveCycle forms in CF2018. Thus CF's docs are incorrect. Please see my 09/07/2015 17:19:19 GMT comment. Thanks!, -Aaron
