We tried and its working on the following configuration. In built Apache 2.2.15 of CentOS release 6.2 (Final) gcc version 4.4.6 20110731 (Red Hat 4.4.6-3) (GCC) Can you give more details of your configuration

In built Apache 2.2.15 with CentOS release 6.2 Running in a VM usin VMware workstation 8.0.2 on Windows 7 64bit Enterprise as the host machine. Can´t get apache service to restart once the Include "/etc/httpd/conf/mod_jk.conf" line is in the conf file. No error message / log message. wscofig.properties: #ColdFusion Web Server Configuration File #Tue Mar 13 11:17:54 NZDT 2012 1=Apache,/etc/httpd/conf,"",/usr/sbin/httpd,/usr/sbin/apachectl,true, 1.srv=localhost,cfusion

OK. I think I´ve found the solution. Apparently selinux needs to be in permissive mode: echo 0 > /selinux/enforce Didn´t come across this in any of the documentation. Being a newbe to linux I find this sort of thing frustrating. Perhaps your documents could be improved?
