Problem Description: From a previous discussion I know that Tomcat for CF is custom, however there is a desire to install ColdFusion onto tomcat. The problem is that like ColdFusion 9 I have a need to connect it to IIS as well.

When I have used the webconnector from CF10 to try and Connect to Tomcat with IIS, I can't seem to get it to work.

I did get the tomcat connector from apache setup, but it appears to proxy all calls to tomcat and run code from that context. Which means that I can't seem to install the code in IIS website and run it as I would with a normal ColdFusion 10 installation.

Is there a way to do this? If not will there be?

The modified connector provided by ColdFusion will not work with Vanilla Tomcat. Connector is based on a protocol and both the components communicating over this protocol must understand this. Invalid scenario

so you missed the bit where it asks will there be a way? Marking it user error when that question is being asked is wrong.

How is this user error? There is currently no support for the web connector to work for tomcat outside of the version of tomcat that is custom built for ColdFusion. There is a genuine need for this, so please explain how this is User Error?
