Locale/System: English / Win 2003 Server

Vote Count: 1

Problem Description:
I added a user to the CF admin. Limited rights. When I attempted to delete this test user, I get an error.

Steps to Reproduce:
Visit: User Manager
Add user.
Click on the X to delete that user.

Actual Result:

The deleteAuthorizedUser method was not found.

Either there are no methods with the specified method name and argument types or the deleteAuthorizedUser method is overloaded with argument types that ColdFusion cannot decipher reliably. ColdFusion found 0 methods that match the provided arguments. If this is a Java object and you verified that the method exists, use the javacast function to reduce ambiguity.

Expected Result:

User would be deleted.

We are experiencing the exact same issue. Our environment is: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1 64-bit ColdFusion 10 Standard 64-bit (mandatory update applied) This is a clean installation of CF10, not upgraded from a previous version. Behavior is seen both before and after any product updates being applied. I'm adding my vote because we need to delete users who leave the company, and editing the neo-security.xml file is not an acceptable workaround for us.

Hi Joshua, If you are still facing this issue then please share the exact set of permissions which you assigned to user. Thanks Nimit

Logged into CF admin and was able to remove the bad user. Can now make new users and delete. Guessing it was fixed in a patch.
