Problem Description:
While reading emails using cfpop command with getall action raise 'String index out of range: -1' error when having attachment having square brackets in it.
Steps to Reproduce:
Try to read email having attachment with name [Untitled].pdf?

Actual Result:
Error 
Expected Result:
Should copy attachment to given path

I also ran into this bug. It is an edge case, but a fix would be nice. :)

I am running ColdFusion 10 (fully patched) and the bug still has not been fixed.

We are running system that handles thousands of mails daily, and download of mails stops when any of them has an attachment name starting with open square bracket, for example: [Untitled].pdf. In such case we have to remove mail from pop server in order to continue with processing of other mail messages. This bug was present since CF8 and we still encounter it even with newest version 10,0,11,285437

what is the ETA on this fix? Had to develop an ugly workaround on a big production system for this! (CF9)

This bug is fixed and will be available in the next ColdFusion release.

I've tested this bug on ColdFusion 10 with update 13 but still not fixed. I've added screenshot with name cfpopissue.jpg which is the dump of cfpop with getall.
