Problem Description: I am never able to delete log files from the Coldfusion Administrator. This was a problem in versions 8 and 9, too. The files are locked by CF and will not delete from admin.

Steps to Reproduce: Log information using the standard cflog and writeLog(). View the log to make sure information is in the log. Then try to delete the log.

Actual Result: The delete option sometimes refreshes the screen with no action apparently taken, or it display the error: Cannot delete log file at <log location>

Expected Result: The log should delete completely, including all of it's archived versions.

Any Workarounds: Stop CF service, delete the files manually, restart the service.

This happens with any log file on dev and production machines. Custom log files, with just alpha-numeric characters, will not delete. It sometimes generates an error that the file cannot be deleted, sometimes it comes back without deleting the file with no explanation at all. Rarely, it will work fine and the log is correctly deleted.

I'm having the same problems with e.g. application.log, exception.log. If this is because the files are locked by a running CF instance (which is the case when you work on a standalone server), then the user interface should not propose the 'Delete' button!

The log files are blocked only intermittently. Closing the bug as neverFix.
