Problem Description: The Allowed SQL checkboxes in the advanced settings for a datasource reset to the default values when you edit a datasource - seems to only happen after the server has been restarted

Steps to Reproduce: In the CF Admin, create a MS SQL Server Datasource - check all of the unchecked checkboxes in the advanced settings "Allowed SQL" section. Save the datasource. Restart your CF Service. Log back in to the CF Admin, go to Datasources, click the name of the datasource just created and click the button to go to the Advanced settings.

Actual Result: The Allowed SQL checkboxes in the advanced settings, which were checked when the datasource was last saved, are unchecked again (for those checkboxes that are unchecked by default when creating a new DSN).

Expected Result: The datasource settings are the same that they were when the datasource was last saved

Any Workarounds: No.... except to go to advanced settings and re-check the values there every time I edit a datasource.

Comments:

Note - it appears that the way to consistently reproduce this behavior does not require a server restart, but what it does require is that you try to rename the datasource while the advanced settings are still collapsed (not visible). If you do change the name and then click the Advanced Settings button, you'll find that the advanced settings form has reset itself to the default settings (at least, the Allowed SQL checkbox values have reverted to their default values).

Bug Verified in CF 11 dev build. Steps : 1) Login to adminstrator 2) Create a MS SQL Server Datasource .Enter a name 3) Change some default values.Specifically check boxes in "Allowed SQL" section . 4) Click submit. 5) Edit the data source you created in Step 2. 6) Just change name.Do not click Advanced Settings tab. Keep it hidden.Click submit. 7) Now edit the data source you created in Step 2 again. 8) Observe Advanced Settings -> "Allowed SQL" section . 9)The values revert to default.
