Bug 84424:Ability to use for collection searchIt would be great to have the possibility to write queries for Solr and Verity collections using the tag
2613470 CF-3311234 Kunal S. Nimit,
This is happening because type=simple was applicable only for Verity. In CF 10 there is no verity hence type=standard/dismax are supported.

Kunal

2600842 CF-3038597 External U. +1 votes. There's no need for Solr / Lucene functionality to be hamstrung by the limitations of the old Verity implementation.

2603765 CF-3035218 External U. The same happens with verity collections as well.
In fact looking at it, its on every check box everywhere in the archive tool.
It would be better if there were a save button rather than sending data every time you select an option.

2596850 CF-3562775 External U. Unfortunately, I am no longer employed at the location where I experienced this error.
I can say, however, that one difference between mine and Jamo's test is that I was attempting to create a Solr collection, not a Verity collection (I apologize for not including
the generated schema.xml for each collection. This is a very important setting. Also surface JVM settings for Solr, like for CF instance, to CFAdmin. Also, if there is a way to support case-insensitive boolean operators, that would rock (or to transform them before sending to Solr).
