2609018 CF-3946143 External U. We ended up giving up on CFCACHE and instead using REDIS. It works great and I'd recommend as CFCACHE is not stable. There is a nice CFC for REDIS here: https://github.com/MWers/cfredis

4540595 CF-4203063 A. B. Yes, I can confirm the following:
1) If you clear the Redis fields before pressing the button to submit changes, no error will occur.
2) But, after you press the submit button, ColdFusion automatically fills the fields Redis Server Port and Password, respectively
4540595 CF-4203063 Poonam J. Can you please try to clear your browser cache(if possible)? and check is this issue goes. ColdFusion will not allow to enter invalid Redis details like this because it always checks for valid Redis connection before pushing these details on UI.
Also, Can you try
Portal Comment Comment on Hidden Gems in CF2018, part 3 – Security, Performance, and the PMT by Aaron Wolfe
Aaron Wolfe Hi Charlie,
FYI, PMT is using Elastic and not Redis.
2673017 CF-4156552 Suchika S. We added support for Redis , JCS & MemCached to ColdFusion 2018. Hence closing this bug.
Tracker Comment Comment on ObjectLoad() Component Never Garbage Collects / ObjectLoad() = Memory Leak by Piyush K.
5065022 CF-4203450 Piyush K. Chris/Dave,
I understand, the issue arises only when you use Redis with CF2016 update 7, for storing objects.
CF2016 does have built-in support for Redis, but for storing session scoped variables only. And we have built-in support for Redis as an alternative caching
Tracker Comment Comment on [LOC]: Default Application Name and its description are appearing in English when the user has only "Subscriber" role by Arpit G.
2672389 CF-4196981 Arpit G. In Redis, the application name and details are stored in English for "only Subcriber role" whereas it is stored as localized for users having multiple roles.
2609042 CF-3941961 Adobe D. We are providing "Redis" for the external session storage, this can be set through the Administrator. There is no App level setting provided as of now.

4540595 CF-4203063 A. B. I think I found the cause of the problem. For some reason, ColdFusion is automatically entering the value "admin" in the field "Redis Server Port"

Tracker Issue Add Support for Multiple Caching Engines
2673017 CF-4156552 Wishlist Brian Klaas Add Support for Multiple Caching Engines In addition to the existing ehCache integration, it would be extremely useful to allow for caching in other engines, especially Redis. These other caching engines do so much more than just get/put, and would provide CF
Charlie Arehart But to be clear, the PMT is not an Enterprise-only feature, right? Can you clarify for folks what is new in 2018 that is Enterprise-only ? From what I've been able to find, it seems that the only thing is the distributed cache options (Redis and Memcached) for the caching features
2608465 CF-4088294 Database Justin Cook Suggest to have NoSQL Database built into ColdFusion 12 or 13 I would suggest that rather than having to use an external no sql database such as MongoDB, CouchDB or Redis, that ColdFusion have a native NoSQL database functionality built in
4540595 CF-4203063 Poonam J. Yeah, that's what I mention in the point 2. But ColdFusion will not enter this value because Redis details are the new input values added in 2018 and they are blank initially when you install CF.Can you confirm me the workflow/steps that added this hard-coded value

Charlie Arehart To folks reading this post, it seems worth noting that the new Distributed Caching options in CF2018 (Redis and memcached) are in fact offered only in the Enterprise (and trial and developer) edition only, and NOT in Standard.
Can someone from Adobe confirm? I'm pretty sure I did
Portal Comment Comment on Public beta for Adobe ColdFusion (2018 release) and Adobe ColdFusion Builder (2018 release) by Jason Caldwell
Jason Caldwell I do have a question on Coldfusion pricing and CPU limits (licensing). Coldfusion is built on-top of free software: Tomcat, SOLR, Java, Open Office, Memcache, REDIS, etc... 99% of Coldfusion is running on Open or Free software. So, you might say, that 1% is proprietary, CFML
