Portal Comment Comment on ColdFusion (2018 release) Update 5 and ColdFusion (2016 release) Update 12 released by akretzer
akretzer I love the new arrow functions, however they break parsing of a cfc in ColdFusion Builder (currently Build 313943). THey get flagged as an "Invalid Token" and this breaks Outline View completely.
Tracker Comment Comment on OrderColumn support for Indexed collections (i.e. type="array" in CF ORM) by External U.

2611980 CF-3568499 External U. I've run into similar problems. There is a lack of consistency here. If I modify the Log Directory under the administrator, it splits up the physical location of the log data as outlined in this item. This can be a real headache as smith mentioned, and seems like

Tracker Comment Comment on String member functions don't cast by Aaron N.
2608121 CF-4187503 Aaron N. Hi Adobe and Brian,
This ticket is not fixed in CF2018 Public Beta (build 2018.0.0.308164).
The following still throws an exception:
foo = now()
writeOutput(foo.trim())
Could you please outline exactly what was fixed? I do not understand your last response
Tracker Comment Comment on Regression: 'try' is no longer allowed as variable name in tag syntax by Legorol S.
5977414 CFB-4198450 Legorol S. I should add that this is a serious problem because once the editor encounters a line such as , it does not parse any further lines below that. For example in a CFC with many functions, if the offending line is near the top of the file, the outline view does not show

Dave Cordes Has anyone noticed hanging CFHTTP transactions after updating to patch 5 on ColdFusion 2018? I just added a bug report outlining our issues on 5 different production servers.

Portal Comment Comment on CF 2018 ODBC Server won’t start after update 3 installed by Charlie Arehart
Charlie Arehart Well, that's a bit risky in that you are restoring a lot of files, and thus undoing potential changes that Adobe felt were intentional.
I'm curious, had you tried the simpler step, of just restoring the one needed file, as outlines in the Adobe technote for known issues, and as I

to the services to run as the created user.
So, apart from changing the logon user from the services manager.
The services need to be given the start/stop permissions to run as the created user as outlined in the blog.
Please do let us know if this solves your problem.
Thanks!
Tracker Comment Comment on 404 custom error handling problem - Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset by Immanuel N.
2672637 CF-4181846 Immanuel N. Claire,
Just to confirm, CF-3368804 was not closed as fixed, but as a duplicate of CF-3488063.
Issues with 404 custom error handler have been reported before, but we have not been able to reproduce the issue at our end, as outlined in CF-3488063.
Could you please
.
I'm unable to view the attached code, but suffice it to say that the CF documentation outlines the -actual- behavior but not the -expected- behavior of a full S3 implementation.
Thanks!,

2610596 CF-3694176 External U. Sorry for the double post below with my comment. I have gone ahead and tested what you outlined here and it did work!
It may be worth adding to the documentation that speaks about REST that the preferred way to retrieve the information sent via a POST is to use
