I should add one more "gem" related to the CF2018 installer, which is more a "trap" to beware: for some reason, Adobe has changed the CF installer (as of CF2018) so that it no longer offers the web server configuration step (to connect CF to IIS or Apache). Instead, one must run CF's "web server configuration" (or wsconfig) tool. For more on that tool, see: https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/configuring-administering/web-server-management.html
