Good idea for a post, like reading a movie poster with the review quotes on it. My .02 "My first exposure to ColdFusion was applying for a job, in the Allaire days, where it was the primary language they used.  I lied and said of course I know how to program in CFML.   I was a cocky little s*#%.  I got the job and was told to start the next Monday.  I bought the dummies book back when there was still a CFML version and by the end of the weekend I was off and running because the language was just that simple and easy to pick up.  ColdFusion has ruined all other languages for me because each time I try another language in my head over and over is the mantra I could do that so much easier in CF."
