Well, ARE the two cf odbc services showing as running? They are a choice offered during install of cf. Did you install cf? Did you tell it to install those?

I have the same problem with a fresh install. Both ODBC services are installed but the ODBC Server service wont start. Error 1053: the service did not respond to the request in a timely manner. This is a fresh CF 2018 install with no updates applied. I tried installing the x86 vc++ runtime redistributable package as one post suggested but that did not help. System Information Server Details Server Product ColdFusion Version 2018,0,02,313961 Edition Enterprise Trial Operating System Windows Server 2008 R2 OS Version 6.1 Adobe Driver Version 5.1.4 (Build 0001) Tomcat Version 9.0.10.0 Any help would be appreciated as we are evaluating CF 2018 to use with a legacy application that requires a single ODBC data source to run successfully. This is a show stopper unfortunately.
