I tried ColdFusion Builder, but I have been much happier using VS Code. You can find extensions that work with CF. As far as a better learning experience, check out Ortus Solutions. https://modern-cfml.ortusbooks.com/

I see that remmarg also offered a similar (but differently worded) variation of this question in the Adobe CF forums.
