<p>As many of you are aware Oracle has changed their licensing for Java 1.8 and making it a pay to play for all commercial purposes. Here’s a link to the licensing announcement. Where can we read the license attached to the Java downloads from Adobe? <strong>Unrelated comment</strong>: For Java SE 8, there hasn't been an update yet under the new licensing terms. The latest update at the moment is Java SE 8 Update 202, released in January 2019, which is still free for commercial use. The JDK downloads available from Adobe for update 202 are binary identical to the ones from Oracle. As such, you don't have to reinstall the update on your servers, even if you are up to update 202 at the moment. Future updates you will presumably need to download from Adobe.

I just installed the updates with the Java from Adobe yesterday on a server. I looked at the 'license' files and they all have links back to java.com. I didn't see anything saying it was licensed by Adobe.

I have looked for the license in the Adobe version of Java after I installed it. I can't find anything that says it's licensed by/through Adobe. I believe you are correct on Java version 1.8.0_202. But Adobe has that version on their site for download. We'll see what happens after April which is Oracle's cut off date.
